BANDS : Testament (US)
DATE : 27-07-03
PLACE : Biebob – Vosselaar (B)

Thrash attack Testament is back in business after the "No Mercy fests" and today Biebob was their battlefield. From the opener "Eerie Inhabitants" till closing encore "Disciples of the watch" they won the field. Testament was on full force with heavenly bass playing by Steve DiGiorgio, brutal thrashing guitars by Steve Smyth and the only official remaining member Eric Peterson, incredibly hard-hitted drums by the drummer of yesteryear John Tempest and mouth wateringly vocals from the always impressive Chuck Billy. The sound was hard and dirty and in front of the stage was a big moshpit from the moment they began, till the moment the last tones shattered out of the boxes. And the recommendation of Chuck for diving was taken for the full 100%. What else do you want with songs as "D.N.R.", "Low", "True Believer", "Into the Pit", "A Dirge" and "Over the wall". A pity the show only lasted an hour and a quarter, I was just heated up in the sauna hall of the Biebob!
